How many of us are certain that the time has come for God to promote you? Some of us will be ready for a promotion in months to come, and some of us will have to go through the fire to come out as fine gold. When the time comes, we will be searched out and given the promotion we want. God doesn’t withhold any good thing. He wants to teach us what we did not put in the time to learn in our early childhood, so we struggled with what we were trying to achieve and needed help understanding why everything was challenging and always came up short. God wants to help us overcome the hump that caused us to miss opportunities because of our shortcomings.
We are told in the word of God that we are to subdue the land and be fruitful. There is a prerequisite to everything we must do to reach the prize. Just like you go to school, you must take the requirement to graduate and eventually get the degree in your studies.
I am speaking to those who have done all they can and are ready to move forward with their next.
Let me take you into the season I am going through. I work for a broker, mind you; I have never worked for a broker or done any work with numbers. I need to be more knowledgeable and equipped to have the natural mindset of knowing what I have to do to get a handle on my day-to-day job. God knows what he is doing.
God likes humor.
Let me tell you how I even landed in a broker’s office. I never had to look for a job in my field of expertise because I didn’t have to go to different avenues to get plugged in. As seasons changed and the era moved to a more uncertain and questionable plateau, the jobs became more demanding on having more degrees and certificates. I was thinking to myself, for an Administrative position, I have to have a bachelor’s degree?????????? What is going on?????????? I have been looking for a job for about 5 months and have had many interviews, sometimes even 2nd or 3rd. God was not letting any doors open. I didn’t understand why. God knew we needed to bring in a 2nd income, so why would he not open the doors? I knew someone who had introduced me to this gentleman with a family-owned business, and I called him to see if he would know someone looking for an Administrator by chance. He advised me that I would do well in his office as an agent for his brokerage company. He promised to train me for 6 months, so I could understand how the insurance business works. I was not given the 6 months of training, but a speedy training that kept me more confused and uncertain of my gifting. I knew that even though I did not understand what I was doing, I was still diligent and did not misuse my time. It became the environment of the enemy’s camp. I knew God used me to pray for those he had highlighted for me, and the atmosphere changed. It was for the good of the environment, thank God. However, I was ready to leave because I was not happy there, nor could I use my gifts to their full potential. I was burned out, and I needed a huge change.
I am telling you this because there is a waiting process, weather changes in the atmosphere, and preparation that needs to take place for God to know that it is time for you to graduate to the next level. None of us will know what that may look like, but God knows and wants us to trust in his word. He will bless us to be in our calling when we have learned what we need to learn in the places we have been placed in. I love God; he is so tactical. Everything he does is precise and with precision. So here is where the rubber meets the road. Do we take flight or stand and let God have his perfect way in us? Or do we get up and give up because we are pressed from every side? Everything in us wants to fly, but what does God want? Giving up is not an option. God will and will prepare us not only to walk into our purpose, but he will do it in his timing. It will come to pass if we don’t terry. We have to submit and not want something so desperately that our focus becomes what we want, but God whats to show you what his will is for you. Let it be unto you, Lord. He knows our hearts and what we desire because he put those desires there. He has us in a place where our character will be tested, and humility will
have to take residency in our life so that our nature will be fine-tuned and perfected to be the vessel God intended for us to be. I promise you; it will come to pass when we will be soaring like an eagle for the position that was prepared for us from the foundation of the world. This will help us enter the gates of our purpose and calling through thanksgiving. Our gifts will make room for us according to the word of God.
Family, it is coming, and it will come like rushing water where we will be flowing in every area of our gifting. Blessing after blessing, favor after favor, and maximizing beyond understanding.
“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,
“When the plowman shall overtake the reaper,
And the treader of grapes him who sows seed;
The mountains shall drip with sweet wine,
And all the hills shall flow with it.
I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;
They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;
They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them;
They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.
I will plant them in their land,
And no longer shall they be pulled up
From the land I have given them,”
Says the Lord your God. Amos 9:13-15.
The word of God will be fulfilled, and it will produce for us and through us in our homes, lives, businesses, relationships and in all the nations. God is not a man that he should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent. Numbers 3:19.
I plead to you this day, wait on the Lord, wear the full Armor of God and just stand. He will do everything for us if we stand and be positioned for the right time to move. Ephesians 13:13
The time is coming when God will require your assistance to dive into your purpose and destiny fully force. When he has molded, chiseled, organized, rearranged, purified, and prepared you, only then will you be able to walk right into your promise with recourses at your fingertips to make a difference and impact all nations.
Please know that you can never become comfortable wherever you are purposed to be. God needs you to be the vessel where you will not become a creature of habit but of movement by and through the Holy Spirit. In the word of God, it tells us that the king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord; like the rivers of water, he turns it wherever he wishes. Proverbs 21:1. We must let God have his way to move us here, there and everywhere.
