Crossroads of Righteousness by grace meets Faith

Everybody has something from their spirit man that needs to be delivered, healed, repented of, and renounced.

Here is food for thought:

WILL is the source of your strength and FEAR is the enemy of your will.

Let’s break down what the word WILL means: Divine determination; moral purpose or counsel.  That faculty of the mind by which we determine either to do or forbear an action.

Let’s break down what the word FEAR means: A painful emotion or passion excited by an expectation of evil, or the apprehension of impending danger.

We can choose good from wrong because we have free will, right? Our Lord Jesus gave his life for us, and we are expected to live a righteous life as well.

Why do we find it difficult to walk in righteousness consistently? How much longer must we struggle and experience our desert until we realize that, given what Jesus accomplished for us, how much more is it possible for us to honor him by leading righteously via grace?

In addition, we experience terror not from a desire that we voluntarily have, but rather from uncertainty and from not overseeing our lives and not knowing what is ahead or what to anticipate. The antithesis of faith is fear. To genuinely lack faith is to live in terror. God never returns empty-handed from his words. We therefore worry that if we are virtuous, we would be weak, overly perfect, or mentally devoid. In actuality it is deemed sinful to live a life of holiness while allowing fear to punish you and keep you from fulfilling God’s promises. Fear is a sign of belief mixed with control. You have faith, but what if? For what length of time will we freely offer the devil what is ours? The scripture assures us that we are beautifully and wonderfully made.

God gives us the ability to lose both in heaven and earth and to bind both in heaven and earth. Why not begin pursuing moving forward with the strength of faith to live a life of righteousness by grace? According to the word from the world’s foundation, we possess it. Intentionally activate it to ensure that you do not overlook the mysteries of God that are revealed to you.

Deuteronomy 29:29 tells us, the secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.  Proverbs 25:2 tells us, It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

Our duty as Christians is to act with grace in whatever we do and be righteous by faith. We’re not supposed to gloat, lie, or whine. O Lord, my strength and my redeemer, grant that the thoughts in my heart and the words I speak be acceptable in your eyes. Psalm 19:14. He calls us righteous because the Father chose us from the foundation of the world, knowing what he installed in us that can bring forth change in this world. Righteousness:  means “justice, justness, or divine holiness.” being blameless, living a pure life, doing good and being holy.  God’s righteousness (or justice) is the natural expression of His holiness.

John 15:1–2 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

Mark 4:20 But those that were sown on the good soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirtyfold and sixtyfold and a hundredfold.”

Galatians 5:22–23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Why does God tell us to be righteous?

Living a righteous life is not just a duty, but a privilege that strengthens our relationship with the All-Powerful God, drawing us closer to Him. It’s a win-win scenario. Our father doesn’t ask for much; all he asks is that we imitate his actions since there are rewards. Should we not accurately represent him, given that we are created in his image and likeness? That we will be able to bear his fruits and that we will also live a righteous life and that more days will be added to us.

I love what Joseph Prince shared about what Faith and Righteousness is. It is the key for us to be blessed.  We will be the beacon of light that the world needs.  The love of God will shine so bright that we see our Father in us.  The word of God tells us that the righteous shell live by faith.  Romans 1:17 tells us, for in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith. Habakkuk 2:4 tells us, See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright, but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness.  Galatians 3:1 tells us, You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was portrayed as crucified.

Being righteous strengthens a person’s relationship with the All-Powerful God, drawing them closer to Him. It resembles a win-win scenario. Our father doesn’t ask for much; all he asks is that we imitate his actions since there are rewards. Should we not accurately represent him, given that we are created in his image and likeness? That we will be able to bear his fruits and that we will also live a righteous life and that more days will be added to us.

So how come we don’t see ourselves as righteous?  We have eternal life through Jesus.  As Joseph Prince spoke regarding how when we sin, we are sinning against grace.  So, if our Lord has grace on us and that he sees us as righteous it is almost like we are taking it nonchalantly.

Romans 5:1-11 tells us therefore, since we have been made righteous through his faithfulness combined with our faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. We have access by faith into this grace in which we stand through him, and we boast in the hope of God’s glory.

Psalm 23:6 tells us surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

Proverbs 21:21 tells us he who follows righteousness and mercy
Finds life, righteousness, and honor.

I pray for Grace and Truth over your lives.  May the promises of Abraham in Christ Jesus by Faith to follow you all the days of your lives.

This is what I saw in my spirit months ago.

  1. Inspiring words! Thank you Anita.

Many times people succumb to fear because of past trauma and the resulting inability to control their thought life. To overcome fear, there must be daily cultivation of discipline (disciple means one who is disciplined) – a life of worship and praise, daily prayer time, a conscious surrender of preoccupation with self to being more concerned for the welfare of others. Do we really love other people? Do we try to see them as God sees them? Are we thankful and content, no matter what our circumstances?

God is in the abundant life, as well as the desert dryness. The wilderness teaches us to submit to God or perish. He’s looking for a certain kind of heart.

Think of all the wonders God, the almighty God has done, the miracles he performs. Psalm 107: He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Unrighteous living leads to destruction. Fear is the devil’s signature. May we embrace our righteous standing with God; and may God send you a personal Word just for you right now. In Jesus’ wonderful name, amen.
